We are Boise based Wedding Photographers who love Sun Valley Engagement Photos and Weddings!

I am so grateful to have met Hanna and Brandon and that they chose us for their Sun Valley Engagement Photos! They are teachers and Seattle swellers, which is dear to my heart since I was born and raised in Washington and also met my dear husband there. Also, as a side note, Bryan and I got engaged outside of Seattle in the gorgeous Washington peninsula just North of Forks (yes that is where Bella and Edward live in Twillight).

Now, why would someone from Seattle come all the way to Idaho to get married? Well, have you been to the Sun Valley Resort? It is amazing! For starters the aspen trees are gorgeous in any season, but especially jaw-dropping in the fall. There is the cutest little village just outside of the actual resort with shops and restaurants galore. In addition to the general atmosphere, you can take a horse-drawn carriage ride around the grounds, lead by clydesdales!

These engagement photos were taken just 10 minutes from the resort at a nearby campground. I mean, who doesn’t love:

There are so many options for locations for a wedding or engagement photos in Sun Valley because there is so much natural beauty there. In general it is beautiful year round. Specifically people visit Sun Valley for skiing, hiking, camping, visiting lakes, and to get away from the hustle of life for awhile.

Bryan and I visit mainly because my sister and her family live there! I love getting to see my little nephews and enjoying family time. Getting to be involved in some gorgeous Sun Valley engagement photos and Weddings are just an added bonus!
